On occasion I will have older dogs available, either from friends I know that are looking to re-home their dog to a new home, or one of my breeding dogs that are retiring and looking for a forever home. If it is one of my breeding dogs that is at a retirement age, they will up to date with yearly vaccinations, and deworming.
All of my breeding dogs are house broke, they are used to the kennel as well as the house. (attached is a 2000 sq ft run) they love the outdoors, as we are very outdoorsy people and you will rarely catch us in the house. Our dogs have been exposed to it all, horses, goats, cats, other dogs, love kids and are also used to people outside our family.
They're used to travelling in a crate, going out for hikes, quad rides, horse rides, some of them are even used to riding on the skidoo or quad. They are usually offleash as we have about 600 acres around here that we use to hike, bike, quad etc... and the dogs do not have to be leashed as it is very private here. They are leash trained as well as trained well to come, sit etc.
My dogs temperments are exceptional, they are very good dogs, are confident & very well socialized and we adore them, so if it is one of my retired breeding dogs, you can be assured that they have had the very best care we could give them as they have been apart of our family in every way. :)
